Procurement strategy development for a global group
Northern, Central and Eastern Europe
The group had recently formed a new division covering northern, Central and Eastern Europe that incorporated a number of extremely mature markets in northern and central Europe, as well as some fiercely competitive growth markets in the east. Under a strategic change program we developed a shared vision for this region. Over a period of six months we supported the strategy development process and the group’s change communication activities. Based on a draft vision, which was developed together with all executives, change initiatives were launched and communicated to all affected staff in the region. The change barometer surveys that were regularly conducted throughout the change process revealed that staff and executives were better able to identify with the new region, which also resulted in higher staff satisfaction in the business units in question.
