How to Use the Change Symbol Cards
Workshop Module: “A Symbolic Entry Point into Change” (50 min.)
Symbols open up access to people’s experience of change in a way that words alone often cannot. They quickly make moods, expectations, and perspectives visible and easier to discuss.
Objectives: explore current experiences of change · notice and appreciate different perspectives · capture expectations for the workshop.
Flow
The symbol cards are laid out visibly in the room. After a brief introduction to the exercise and process, each participant chooses one card and reflects on it — including expectations for the workshop and documentation along three guiding questions:
- Which card did I choose?
- How does it reflect my current experience?
- What would I like to achieve in this workshop for the time to feel worthwhile?
