How to Use the Talent Reflector Cards

Workshop Module: “Building on Strengths” (120 min.)

The cards make individual strengths visible and easier to talk about — in the spirit of a strengths-based approach such as CliftonStrengths: not compensating for weaknesses, but intentionally developing what is already strong.

Objectives: introduce a strengths-based focus · reflect on personal strengths · give one another strengths-based feedback.

Flow

  1. Opening (10 min.) — The facilitator introduces the idea of “building on strengths.”
  2. Identifying Strengths (20 min.) — Each participant selects 3–5 cards that intuitively resonate and best reflect their own strengths.
  3. Deepening Understanding (30 min.) — Participants read the card descriptions, use the handout to deepen their reflection, and exchange cards if needed.
  4. Strengths-Based Feedback (55 min.) — A brief input introduces strengths-based feedback. Each participant presents their selected cards; the team confirms, adds perspective, and shares relevant anecdotes.
  5. Visualization (5 min.) — Strengths are transferred to the “Strengths House” — a pinboard with 33 strengths. This gives the team an at-a-glance view of its strengths profile.

Closing Reflection: “How are our strengths already contributing to our success — and how could we make even better use of them?”
