How it all started
Back in the fall of 2008, amid the scenic landscapes of the Swiss Bergell, Anja and Christoph had a bold thought: why not establish a consultancy focused on change management, HR and organizational development? They were hiking through the chestnut forests near the village of Soglio when the idea struck. Half a world away, Lehman Brothers was crumbling — the onset of a grave global financial crisis. We remember wondering: is this the time to jump into such a venture?
It has been eighteen years and a few crises since. In that whirlwind we have understood some critical things:
- Managing transformational issues is not just relevant — it is increasingly crucial.
- The core success factor continues to be people, underscoring the strategic importance of developing personnel and organizations.
- The “right time” is fluid — it is more about what you create out of the situation than the situation itself.
