Context

The industrial-clients division of an AXA P&C region wanted to bring its area together across locations and jointly align it for the coming years. Under the guiding theme “Dynamics & Continuity,” the aim was to strengthen cohesion in a phase of change, exchange experiences and develop concrete solutions – with all employees, not just the leadership circle.

Task

PUETTGEN Consulting designed and facilitated a two-day large-group workshop for around 120 employees from several locations. In preparatory workshops with the leadership team, objectives and dramaturgy were sharpened.

Approach

Genuine participation in the large group: mixing across locations and functions, an appreciative, solution-oriented focus (“more of what works”) and a clear step orientation. The leaders were visibly involved as input providers, without overshadowing the participative character.

Formats

A symbolic, experience-oriented opening; collegial exchange in mixed groups; input from the leaders; a “Solution Forum,” in which participants jointly developed answers in “solution sketches”; an outlook with agreed next steps – led by a four-facilitator team.

Role

PUETTGEN Consulting was responsible for the design, preparation with the leadership team, facilitation of the two-day large group in a four-facilitator team and the documentation.

Transfer

The jointly developed “solution sketches” and agreed next steps translated the workshop into concrete follow-up work.
