Context

PATRIZIA, an internationally operating real estate investment manager, supports its first-time leaders with a structured development program – as a multi-week learning journey with the tracks Self-Leadership, People Leadership and Community Building. The target group is internationally distributed; the sessions take place in a hybrid format. The focus is on the role change from high-performing individual contributor to leader.

Task

PUETTGEN Consulting is responsible for the external leadership training modules and the collegial peer coaching. In “Managing Yourself”, participants develop their own understanding of leadership and a clear development intention and prepare the transition into the leadership role, including the first 100 days; “Managing Others” focuses on leading through change, situational motivating and building high-performing teams.

Approach

Reflection- and transfer-oriented: a protected space for open exchange and trying out new behaviors, strengths-based self-reflection as well as proven leadership models, directly related to real leadership situations.

Formats

Position assessment; the modules “Managing Yourself” (three sessions) and “Managing Others”; established models such as the “Connected Leader”, situational leadership, the team model by Lencioni and the change curve by Kübler-Ross; structured peer-coaching sessions between the modules.

Role

PUETTGEN Consulting designs and delivers the modules “Managing Yourself” and “Managing Others” as well as the peer-coaching sessions and is responsible for the position assessment – in a two-trainer team and as a recurring partner across several cohorts.

Transfer

Self-chosen new habits and structured peer-coaching sessions between the modules anchor what has been learned in everyday leadership; the hybrid format connects the internationally distributed target group into a shared learning journey.
